Attributes

Description

The element <suittype> indicates the type of diving suit used; this element was adopted from the DL7 Standard by DAN — Project Dive Exploration, http://www.diversalertnetwork.org/research/projects/pde/ (in DL7 Standard this field is named dress).

Allowed keywords are: dive-skin, wet-suit (also a "semi-dry suit" is classified hereunder), dry-suit, hot-water-suit, other.

A special case is wearing no suit at all. This cannot be indicated here because <suittype> stands inside <suit> — and without suit there is no <suit> section. To indicate that no suit was used with a dive the <nosuit/> switch must be given inside the <dive> section.
